Greetings from CT

It seems like the time has flown by, since my last post. We are enjoying our new home in CT and Isabella just LOVES the snow. The holidays were very nice and Grandma and Grandpa Covert, came to CT for a visit. I think they missed the warm AZ weather, though. :) We took a trip to NYC and had a wonderful time. Isabella is growing so fast and such a smart little cookie. She can't wait to see everyone in AL., next week. We hope all is well with everyone. Take care and I will post again, soon.

Having fun in the snow...weeeeeee!

Well, here we are, finally, getting to our blog. It has been a while, so I will try to catch everyone up. Since the beach trip this Summer, we have sold our house in Trussville AL, moved to CT., and are in the process of buying our new home. Isabella is SO excited to have a new room, that she wants to paint it, you guessed it right, PINK! It's nice in CT and I think we will really enjoy it, a lot. Isabella had fun on Halloween and made many new friends, at the pizza party. :) We miss you all and will keep you posted on things, in CT. Come visit when you can!

Love,

Sharon and Isabella

Hi everyone!
It seems like we have been so busy, lately. Sean is liking his new job and hopes that we can join him soon....we do, too! Thank you Shane, Brandi, HC, Melissa and Patrick for making sure we are in great company. You are wonderful friends and a true blessing, to us. We love you!
Isabella loves playing outside with her toys and of course, the swimming pool. We enjoyed the day at the zoo with Daddy...so much fun! We will be going to Tampa, FL tomorrow, to visit a friend and her twin boys. It's going to be a great visit. Isabella is excited and she's ready to hit the beach! :) After we get back from FL., we have a couple of weeks and then it's time to see Daddy and the family. It is the "Covert" family vacation. This time, it is at the beach and we are looking forward to that...yahoo!

Summer Fun!

Taking the big "LEAP!"

Swimming without a float!

Playing in the sand at Tybee Island...so much fun!

Tybee Island lighthouse.

Hi everyone!
It seems like we have had a very busy Summer, so far. After visiting family in VA., we went on a mini vacation, with Patrick and Melissa. The trip was to Savannah, GA and we all had a great time. Isabella loved the time spent with all of us and especially, her time at the beach. We went to Tybee Island, GA and played in the sand and water and climbed to the (tippy-top...as Isabella's tells it) of the light house. The food was wonderful and the tour of the city, nice.
Isabella had swim lessons again and will start a private class in September. She LOVES the water and has fun with the other kids. She is getting ready for the "Covert" family beach trip in August. We can't wait!
Next month, Isabella and I, will be visiting my friends in TN and then back to see my Sister, in VA. After that, we go to Tampa, FL to visit my friend and her twin boys, Jett and Carson. They are so cute! Can't wait to see everyone.
I will post more, later....take care and God Bless!

Our trip to VA.

Isabella, Kaitlyn and Kaylie.

Swim lessons with Ms. Brittany...so fun!

Isabella and her cousin, Tori Gayle.

Hi everyone!

Our trip to VA., to see family, was great. Isabella had a wonderful time with her cousins and they played non-stop. :) We plan on going back in July to visit a little longer and go to WV to see my Brother and his family. So, it will be another busy vacation break. Then, after that trip, Isabella and I will be going to Tampa, FL to visit a good friend and her twin boys, Jett and Carson. That should be a fun trip.

Sean will start his new job in Danbury, CT on July 7th. We flew to CT last week to get a feel for the area and it was very nice and the weather, cool. Isabella and I will stay back until the house sells, so, let's keep our fingers crossed and lots of prayers that it won't take as long as before. The market is down but we have high hopes!

I will post again soon. Take care and God Bless!

Isabella's special day!

My new scooter! Catch me if you can....

So excited about her presents...

Isabella made her wish and wanting to get the Care Bears off the cake.

Such a big girl now!

It sure has been a very busy month, so far. Isabella celebrated her 3rd birthday, on the 10th and had such a great time. Her birthday cake was all about Care Bears with a lot of balloons...which she loves! Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Mimi and Uncle Patrick helped celebrate and she received a lot of cool gifts. She was very happy and excited! As you can see by the pictures, she was a "HAPPY CAMPER!" :)

Isabella started swim lessons on the 12th and is having a fun time. If it involves water, she's there! I will take some pictures and post them soon.

Our next adventure will be traveling to VA., to visit family. Isabella can't wait to see all of her cousins, Aunt She-She and Uncle Dwayne...she will have a blast!
I will be posting again soon. Take care...

Saturday, May 3, 2008

Finally, I am starting a blog...it sure has taken me a while! It is Saturday, May 3rd and Isabella started the day off by getting up at 6:30 AM....yes, very early! This is everyday no matter how much sleep she gets. We have breakfast and Mommy, has to get her morning cup of coffee to wake up. Daddy is sleeping in and what a good day to do so...it is raining outside. Isabella wants to go outside and play in the rain with her froggy boots but I have ruled that out, since it is storming a little. So, we are playing inside with markers, crayons, and her play kitchen. So much fun!

Last night, our great friends, Shane and Brandi (with little Hannah Claire...whom we will see in 9 days), watched Isabella while we went to dinner and a movie. I can't tell you the last time that Daddy and Mommy had a date night. It was a great time for us and for Isabella. She loves Shane and Brandi and wanted to go see them this morning. We have wonderful friends and that is another blessing...who could ask for more. Thank you all very much!

Isabella is getting so excited about Grandma and Grandpa's visit, this week. They are coming in from Scottsdale, AZ, for her 3rd birthday, which is May 10th. She has decided that instead of a dinosaur cake, she would like to have a Care Bear cake, etc. I'm sure that will change a few more times, before she settles on one. It is hard to believe that she will be three years old next week! Where did the time go? Isabella is such a true blessing and we love her so much! God Bless...
Have a great day!
